Data Workshop

The DISCOVER-AQ team is holding a 3-day data workshop in Newport News, Va., to summarize observations from the 2011 campaign. The workshop includes oral presentations, and poster and breakout sessions.

07.28.11:
Final Flights Set for July 29

The DISCOVER-AQ flight campaign comes to an end with flights scheduled for Friday, July 29 between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. The flight segment between the Washington Beltway and Baltimore will follow Interstate 95.

Our Mission
DISCOVER-AQ is a four-year campaign to improve the use of satellites to monitor air quality for public health and environmental benefit.

Through targeted airborne and ground- based observations, DISCOVER-AQ will enable more effective use of current and future satellites to diagnose ground level conditions influencing air quality.
